Drawn by Janice Shapiro from the cover of her graphic novel Honoria: A Fortuitous Friendship, this pigment print was made in July 2025 by Alexander Wood in a signed edition of fifty numbered, nine lettered hors de commerce, and four printer’s proofs at 600dpi on Somerset Velvet 255g paper using Epson UltraChrome archival inks.

Soon, the dark curtain of The Great Depression descends on America and Europe and changes everything for the two girls. The book follows their struggles to survive in a new world of great uncertainty, deprivation and loneliness. Yet, despite their hardships and reversals of fortune, Ida and Honoria's quest to find a way back to each other remains unstoppable.
